What’s included?

Our 2-hour kids cooking class birthday parties include all of the food prepared during the interactive cooking class and beverages. All kitchen equipment is provided, right down to each apron.

Your young chefs will be guided on their journey by one of our experienced and enthusiastic instructors. We’ll not only make delicious dishes together, but we’ll learn about safe food handling, making food from scratch, fun facts about ingredients, knife handling skills, and the value of locally sourced ingredients.

Culinary Themes

Perfect Pizza

Every pizza is unique and we celebrate that! Together we’ll make a fresh batch of dough that each guest will roll out into their own preferred shape. Each guest will customize their pizza with our signature sauce and loads of choices for toppings including pepperoni, ham, grilled chicken, pineapple, pickles, mushrooms, onion, tomato, olives, and 3 types of cheese.

Taco 'bout Fun

We’ll make your choice of beef or chicken soft shell tacos with all the toppings, including fresh pico de gallo (salsa), guacamole, cilantro lime crema, tomato, peppers, lettuce, grilled corn, onion, and 2 choices of cheese.

Say Cheese (Mac 'n Cheese)

Oxford County is the Dairy Capital of Canada and that means we celebrate Cheese! Together we’ll make a mornay sauce (cheese sauce) to mix into customizable Mac ‘n Cheese bowls. Each guest can choose from broccoli, bacon, ham, onion, mushroom, peas, fried zucchini, tomato, corn to add to their dish. We’ll top it all off with crunchy panko and a choice of 5 local award-winning cheeses.

Cut vegetables and dip at each table to round out your meal.

DYI Cupcakes

We’ll bake two batches of cupcakes; vanilla and chocolate*. Guests will have 3 choices of homemade icing to choose from including buttercream, cream cheese frosting or a chocolate ganache frosting. Bake and decorate your cupcakes like a pro before sitting down to devour your sweet creations.

Cut vegetables and dip at each table to round out this experience.

Pricing

Each package is $30 (+ hst) per child, with a minimum booking of 8 children

Available Times

Parties are two hours in length. Bookings are available

Saturdays between 10am – noon, 2pm – 4pm

Sundays between 11am – 1pm, 3pm – 5pm

Weekday bookings are available throughout July and August with customized start times.

*Holidays and weeknights are available through special arrangement.

Party Policies

Allergy Alert
We avoid using nuts during our birthday parties, however our facility is NOT an allergy or nut free environment. When you call to confirm the number of guests, please let us know if any of the children attending the party have any food allergies, sensitivities, or restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate but we cannot guarantee that anything has not come into contact with an allergen.

Outside Food & Drink Policy
No outside food or beverages are permitted for consumption during the party. Any additional food or drinks you wish to provide must be approved by the class instructor.

Number of Participants
Minimum 8. Smaller groups welcome but will be charged the minimum. Kitchen maximum is 20 guests.

Age of Participants
Party packages are designed for children ages 6 and up. If you plan to invite younger children, you must let us know as modifications may need to be made to your party.

Booking and Cancellation Details
We require a non-refundable $50 deposit at the time of booking to reserve the date and time for your private party. If the party is cancelled, the $50 deposit will not be refunded. The balance is due on the day of the party (plus hst). Final numbers to be confirmed 3 days prior to the event. At this time, we also ask that you confirm any special requests, dietary restrictions, or special needs that any of the children may require.

Parents/Guardians
All you need to do is show up, sit back and relax as the kids have a blast! We will have two Team members supervising the children, and up to two adults are welcome to stay in the kitchen during the party. Limited seating area is available for other guests. Adult meals are available upon request.

Waiver
All parents/guardians will need to fill in a Child Waiver Form. This will need to be completed and presented to the class instructor prior to the birthday party starting.
